This palm-sized mechanical spider can be affixed to a suit of armor or a shield. Once attached, it anchors itself securely and rapidly constructs a fine but resilient web across the wearer’s armor, forming a faintly shimmering lattice of alchemically reinforced threads.
Each junction of the web contains a sealed charge of magically enhanced flash powder. When a creature hits you with a attack while within 90 feet of you, one of these charges detonates in a brilliant burst of light.
The attacker must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or be blinded until the end of your next turn. The web can produce this effect a number of times equal to 3, after which its charges are expended and the spider becomes inert until next dawn.
